Week 18:
Statline: 6 REC, 49 REC YARDS
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions capped off a strong regular season by defeating the hated Green Bay Packers in a win and in game for the Packers. The Detroit Lions finish the season just shy of making the playoffs, but will carry strong momentum into the 2023-2024 season as one of the teams with the brightest futures in the NFL. Amon-Ra St. Brown cemented himself as a WR1 this season, and will look to continue his strong play next year.
Week 17:
Statline: 4 REC, 62 REC YARDS
Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions in targets and receiving yards in this blowout of the Chicago Bears where the Lions would end up scoring 41 total points. The Detroit Lions found a ton of success through relying on their run game to dominate the Bears at the line of scrimmage. Amon-Ra is the bonafide WR1 for the Detroit Lions, and in this game was able to reach 100 receptions for the 2022-2023 season. The Lions and Amon-Ra will look to either continue their playoff push or play spoilers in their divisional matchup against the Packers in Week 18.
Week 16:
Statline: 7 REC, 76 REC YARDS, 1 CAR
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions suffered a setback to their playoff hopes with a loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 16. In a game where the Lions defense was unable to stop the Panthers’ run game, the offense did it’s best to keep the team in the game with multiple touchdowns through the air. Amon-Ra finished with 76 receiving yards, 2nd among all receivers in the game. The Lions will look to bounce back in Week 17 against a flailing Chicago Bears team in a divisional matchup.
Week 15:
Statline: 7 REC, 76 REC YARDS, 1 RUSH, 6 RUSH YARDS
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions had a tough task going against the fourth best passing defense in the NFL, the New York Jets, in week 15 of NFL gameplay. Regardless of the Jets attempt to stifle the Lions offensive game, St. Brown was able to turn ten targets into seven receptions for 76 yards. This brought St. Brown’s season-long receiving total up to 974 yards, and with three games left in the 2022 season he is well on his way to achieving his first 1000 yard season. The Lions were able to take down the Jets 20-17, making their record 7-7 and second in the NFC North.
Week 14:
Statline: 6 REC, 68 REC YARDS, 1 CAR, 6 RUSH YARDS
The Detroit Lions took on the Minnesota Vikings in week 14, a matchup of the top two receivers in the NFC North. Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is currently second in the NFC North in both receptions and receiving yards behind only Justin Jefferson. Against the Vikings St. Brown was able to bring in six catches for 68 yards, increasing his year total to 82 receptions and 898 yards. The second-year star receiver sits in the top ten of the entire NFL in targets, receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. The Lions and St. Brown were able to upset the Vikings 34-23.
Week 13:
Statline: 11 REC, 114 REC YARDS, 2 REC TDS, 1 CAR, 2 RUSH YARDS
Amon-Ra St. Brown once again led the Detroit Lions in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars in his week 13 matchup, St. Brown was able to pull in 11 receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns, marking the second time this season that he’s had a two-touchdown game. This was also the second time this season that St. Brown was able to bring in double-digit receptions. The Lions were able to blow out the Jaguars 40-14.
Week 12:
Statline: 9 REC, 122 REC YARDS, 1 REC TD, 1 CAR, 7 RUSH YARDS
The Detroit Lions played their annual Thanksgiving game this year against the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown showed his capabilities of a true WR1 by amassing 9 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. He had the most receiving yards in the game and had five more receptions than the next closest Detroit receiver. St. Brown’s efforts were not enough to outplay the explosive Bills’ offense as they went on to lose 25-28.
Week 11:
Statline: 7 REC, 76 REC YARDS, 1 CAR, 4 RUSH YARDS
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown once again led the offense in receptions and receiving yards, this time against the New York Giants in their week 11 matchup. After pulling in seven catches for 76 yards, St. Brown is now top ten in the league for receptions despite missing two games to injury. The Lions were able to upset the two-loss Giants in their own home by winning the game 31-18.
Week 10:
Statline: 10 REC, 119 REC YARDS, 1 CAR, 2 RUSH YARDS
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was able to log his second 100-yard game of the season on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. St. Brown was able to haul in ten of his 11 targets for a total of 119 yards. In only eight games this season St. Brown has gone for over 100 receiving yards twice, last year in 16 games played he only did this twice as well. The Lions went on to beat the Bears 31-30.
Week 9:
Statline: 4 REC, 55 REC YARDS
Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions took on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in a defensive matchup. There were 643 combined yards in the game from the two teams, yet only 24 points were scored with four turnovers. St. Brown led the Lions’ receiving core in three major categories with nine targets, four receptions, and 55 receiving yards. The Lions were able to hold off the Packers and win the game 15-9.
Week 8:
Statline: 7 REC, 69 REC YARDS
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions took on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. This was St. Brown’s first game back from his early exit last week against the Dallas Cowboys after entering the concussion protocol. St. Brown was targeted ten times for a team-high of seven catches and 69 yards. The Lions were not able to hold off a second-half comeback from the Dolphins as they lost 27-31.
Week 7:
Statline: 1 REC, 4 REC YARDS
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown left the game against the Dallas Cowboys after suffering an apparent head injury in the first quarter. It was originally believed that St. Brown had received a concussion after being tackled during the game, but he was, fortunately, able to clear all concussion protocols. Lions head coach Dan Campbell says that St. Brown was taken out of the game because of the new league rules regarding head injuries, that state that any player representing poor muscle control is to be taken out of the game.
Week 6:
Statline: BYE WEEK
The Detroit Lions and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had a very much-needed bye in week six. Before their week five matchup against the Patriots, the Lions had 15 players show up on the injury report including St. Brown. The receiver was able to play against the Patriots, but only recorded 21 total snaps, the lowest of his young career. St. Brown and the Lions were able to recover over their bye weekend and look forward to their next game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Week 5:
Statline: 4 REC, 18 REC YARDS
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown played a limited amount of snaps in his return from injury in their shutout loss to the New England Patriots 0-29. St. Brown only played on 32% of offensive snaps on Sunday but was able to make four catches for 18 yards. He is gradually making his way back from an ankle injury suffered against the Vikings in Week 3.
Week 4:
Statline: 0 REC
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was not able to join the team in their game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. St. Brown is dealing with an ankle sprain that he endured against The Lion’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings in week three. The star receiver remains day-to-day as the Lions struggle without him, losing to the Seahawks 45-48.
Week 3:
Statline: 6 REC, 73 YARDS
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was targeted nine times on Sunday against the Vikings, making up almost a fourth of Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff’s attempts. St. Brown made six receptions for 73 yards out of those nine targets. The Lions lost the game to the Vikings 24-28.
Week 2:
Statline: 9 REC, 116 REC YARDS, 2 TD, 2 CAR, 68 RUSH YARDS
Against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown totaled 184 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. His first touchdown was a 13-yard pass from Jared Goff to St. Brown in the back of the end zone at the end of the first quarter. The Lions went on to beat the Commanders 36-27.
Week 1:
Statline: 12 TGTS, 8 REC, 64 YARDS, 1 REC TD
In Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Amon-Ra St. Brown caught eight of his twelve targets for 64 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown came in the third quarter when the Detroit Lions were attempting to mount a comeback. Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw the ball to St. Brown for a 4-yard touchdown catch. The Lions went on to lose to the Eagles 38-35.
